Hi Sarah TGF what did you use for the chocolate frosting?0

This is the recipe I have poppy, but I usually end up adding a ton of icing sugar to make it really thick, its yummy though...
56g chocolate
115g butter
90ml milk
440g icing sugar
pinch salt
In a large saucepan over medium heat, combine chocolate, butter and milk. Bring to a boil, stirring frequently. Remove from heat and beat in icing sugar and salt. Beat until smooth, adjusting consistency with milk or sugar, if necessary."The great pleasure of a dog is that you may make a fool of yourself with him and not only will he not scold you, but he will make a fool of himself too."- Samuel Butler0 -
Hi TGF, I think those Dora cupcakes that you've made look absolutely wonderful, the chocolate icing looks soooooooo scrummy.
everybody's come up with such fantastic ideas that i'm determined to have a go at making some sort of a Dora creation. My DD's birthdays next Saturday so i'll let u know how i get on,
thanks again for all the inspiration0 -
Hi
To keep things simple, why don't you just make it look like the part where they have to chhose which path to take? The right path could have the candle at the end? You could just make some of the stars to decorate the cake, they will be really easy to do.:happyhear We are not put on this earth for ourselves, but are placed here for each other.

You're very kind! I thought they were rubbish
My OH calls them my 'obese Dora' cupcakes :P
Have a go anyway. I love baking, even if it looks bad it usually tastes great!"The great pleasure of a dog is that you may make a fool of yourself with him and not only will he not scold you, but he will make a fool of himself too."- Samuel Butler0
