I'm fully behind the Which? campaign to restrict advertising of junk food to children across the media, and support the Food Products (Marketing to Children) bill, introduced by Nigel Griffiths MP.
To publicise its campaign, Which? is offering YOU readers a free black jute shopper, with the slogan: Junk Food Promotion to Kids – not my bag! To get your free bag, visit which.co.uk/freebag
So the original post must be a new one :j_Jen_0 -
thing is a lot of people dont realise what constitires junk! Do you let your kids eat cadbury's creme eggs?
Do you give them sugar free drinks. They are both top of my NONO list
Sugar free drinks contain aspartame, which causes cancer and hyperactivity, ( and other health things too complicated to go into.) It is banned in many other countries
better to give the kids a drink with a bit of sugar in . (Hard to find, but are a few) and feed thenm a healthy diet
Creme eggs contain E110, also a carcinogen, also banned in other countries. It is one of the colours that they are debating whether to ban in this country. bout time too. everyone should boycott creme eggs until they substitute the E110 with a natural E number
Also the main cause of obesity is lack of exercise. I walk 2 miles each way to school with my kids. Most parents are too darned lazy, and would prefer to clog their kids lungs up with exhaust fumes and drop em right outsied school.I ate loads of jubnk as a kid, but I walked to school my entire school life and did loads of sports. I am still a size 10 to 12 now at 45, and I eat loads, but I cycle and walk everywhere I can.
Thanks for the bag linkI can be brown I can be blue I can be violet and sky. I can be hurtful I can be purple I can be anything you like..Gotta be green gotta be mean gotta be everything more...0 -
