Over cooked the chicken today, so can't have the usual cold meat and chips tomorrow.
Can I have a chicken soup recipe please?
Also, can I use the cold veg, (sweetcorn, peas and carrots) in a soup??
Dinner today was a disaster, over cooked chicken by 2 hours (got side tracked) and then cooked too much veg, topped off with soggy yorkshires...yummy not.
One good thing this weekend, made two shepherds pies for a fiver!!
TY

This is off the top of my head since I don't have the recipe written down - I hope it's right!
In a stock pot, add enough hot water for soup and 3-4 chicken bouillion cubes. Add 1 chopped carrot, 1 chopped onion, and 1 stalk chopped celery. Add the leftover chicken and soup spices (I like a bit of lemon juice, thyme, parsley, oregano, basil, salt pepper). Cook for about 40 minutes, then add 250g of conchigle pasta and 1 bag of frozen sweet corn. Cook for another 20 minutes or until pasta is soft.0
