I'm also shopping around for a good quality piece of garden play equipment, ideally a climbing frame with a swing and slide attaced. I've been pointed toward this blog post that compares a few prices: Adventure Playsets at Bargain Prices -
But, as yet, I haven't had the time to check these out. I daresay that, by the time I do they will have sold out.
  • I purchased a used little tykes climbing frame and slide set from ebay for well below the usual retail price. But my best buy by a long long long way was the Chicco double swing that I got for £10.50 which unfortunately doesnt seem to be manufactured any more as it really is a very well made. Originally we wanted the wooden style but at the end of the day the plastic climbing frame is very robust and more than adequate for what the kids needed. The only people that will be thinking that its not wooden is you not the kids as they will be too busy playing on it.

Man walks into a bar and orders 12 whiskeys. He starts knocking them back one after the other. The barman says, 'Hey, slow it down pal, theres no rush'. 'If you had what I've got, you be drinking fast too.' The barman is concerned and asks the man what he has. The man replies,'Seventy pence.'
