My bro and sil bought this highchair from ikea for their dd (18mths). It is only £11.99, and easily dismantles for storage/travel etc.

Sign up to your local freecycle, there are always people giving them away on there for free!

Also do a search on ebay, you may find one locally that someone is selling that you can pick up to cut out the high postage charges.

Failing that ....
Tesco's sell them for around £25 in the bigger stores,

Look on kiddicare for highchairs, plenty of cheapish ones on there or maybe with your child being older (toddler almost) then go for something like this which will last him for a while with or without the tray.

I have one of these for my daughter who is now 10 months old, we bought it just before christmas, I also bought one for my son when he was one, he used it til he was 3 as a booster seat so he could reach the table.
