Sadly, you didn't 'save' your locality in your profile. As you will see, I live in gloucester. Many local colleges of art and technology have a school of culinary excellence to train chefs, which includes 'waiting' etc. So they need a restaurant to enable students to gain experience and customers to practice on! They are reasonable with their prices, serve good food and have a reasonable ambience. If you have one near you, you could do worse. Look on the net.
Meanwhile, here's the one in Cheltenham. Bon appetit!

Loch Fyne are doing some £10 deal on their website.

Apart from that, a constant deal is cashing in Tesco clubcard vouchers for Cafe Rouge, Bella Italia etc. Never eaten in those myself.

I went to the trouble of taking the Loch Fyne voucher in with me but they have a 2 courses for £10 menu anyway...

Also, Brewers Fayre have a buy one main and get one main free or 1000 nectar points.

There are always deals at the brewers fayre ( i just used a bogof voucher today -it was quite good) and the daily mail occasionally has vouchers for this and tobey cavery( as does brewers fayres site ). Try the websites for the restaurants you like and join their newsletters as a lot offer vouchers , wagannama regularily have specails as does TFI friday.
Try https://www.5pm.co.uk they offer local deals and specail menus.
Also my boyfriend has a royal bank of scotland royalties discount card which gives 25% of meals at selected restaurants. It is not meant to cover drinks but we always get the discount for this too and it has saved a lot on each bill.
