Chickenpox

Let me start by saying I'm not asking for a diagnosis!
I suspect my nearly 3 year old son has Chickenpox (has some spots on torso, behind ears, few on legs and arms).
He seems very well in himself (not off food, still very lively etc). I am not worried about him - if I thought it was serious I would have taken him to emergecy Dr.
So, I just wondered if anyone has had a mild dose of Chickenpox? Everyone else who I know who has had it, has had it quite bad (eg, LOTS of spots and very itchy). My sons spots don't seem to bother him that much (I have put some Chalomine lotion on).

My son had a mild dose of chicken pox when he was 10. Just a few spots, hardly any itching, no real discomfort. We wouldnt even have noticed I dont think, if I hadnt had it also at the same time. I on the other hand had it really terribly, and felt fit to die for about 10 days, but thats another story. I hope it doesnt get any worse for him.0

my son had chicken pox age 4, he only had about 10 spots and was very well in himself!
He then gave it to his 3 yr old sister who got hundreds absolutely everywhere and was very poorly with it, she also picked her spots (when I wasn't looking) and has still got scars on her face (she's 12 now)!
Anyway, he is a very healthy child, doesn't get colds much, just a few sniffs when he does! In fact, he's 13 and the only time he's had off school has been through accidents, not illness! I hope your lad turns out to be as healthy as mine. x:rolleyes: Call of Duty widow :rolleyes:0
