Hi all

I would like to do some work with loan brokers etc. something like completing paperwork in clients homes on a commission basis. All I ever see are upfront charges for this type of work, does anyone know how I could get into this type of work

Manythanks

  • From the experiences I've heard about this sort of work, there are numerous complaints about rude or non-existent support and applications continual being declined. You also often have to spend a small fortune advertising your services in local papers (company place them but you pay) with little or no response. With the current credit crunch, it's likely to be even harder to get anyone accepted.

Why not simply sign up as an affiliate for one of the big blue chip financial companies and earn commission on applications? OMG at http://omguk.com is probably the best agency for these. They are pretty selective so you'll need an existing relevant web site up and running first, but this could be simply a collection of relevant articles and advice.

    Hi,
I used to do this via a company I found in exchange &mart. It costs a fair bit to advertise and is highly competitive TBH. The problem you had is you need a credit license to sell loans so you can work for a company, work for yourself via a brokerage (using their license) or you can buy your own license but it's not cheap or quick. I believe you're look at £5000 and various checks before you get a license. You should also be aware that they can remove your license if you abuse it.
