I was mending a vase and my DIL said "Why don't you buy a new one?" Thinking about it, it cost more for the superglue than for a new glass vase from M & S. (selling at £3.00.) Is it economical to keep mending things?

if it's something sentimental or was a gift then i'd try to mend it. if it was beyond repair, shattered for example, i'd throw it outNonny mouse and Proud!!
