your fave fabric shops

i have a lovly pattern for a reversable skirt but i just cant find any fabrics i like because its double sided i need two complymentry fabrics the selection in my local shops is pretty poor do any old stylers that do a lot of sewing clothes making have any recomendation for fabric shops, and do you use online ones im worried about this as i like to feel befor i buy

    where abouts in west yorks do you live? theres a great fabric shop in dewsbury (formally known as just dewsbury-not place where terrible parents arrange abductions of own children for profit!!!!!!)
    its behind the former M&S (now empty-but opposite woolies) and sells so much lovley fabric-ranging from v cheap to gr8 upholsery-the mans lovley who runs it too x

    oooo excelent work (mid yorks nhs) send me to training stuff at dewsbury hospital alot so i could nip in on the way past

    there you go then-look for woolies-stand infront-cross over (army n navy on corner) walk up between army n navy n now derelict M&S and its there on the corner-looks little holds loads!!! good luck x

    Abakhan Fabrics - known locally as El Kilos. They have an online shop too.

    Much better bargains IF you live near enough to one of their shops - famous one on the way to North Wales. Anybody passing there, it's worth stopping even if only for a cup of coffee!!!
