My hand most of the time and wipe the dust on my trousers.I came into this world with nothing and I'm gonna leave with nothing.0

A dry duster if they aren't too bad, a slightly damp one if they are and an occasional old fashioned lavender polish now and again, or if I have company coming, as it smells wonderful.
I use my old feather duster for gently lifting spiders from the wall and placing them outside.0 -
I don't dust, I get 'him' to do it!!
Sorry on my way

I use a damp microfibre and also an ostrich feather duster. my feather duster has recently started shedding feathers (do ostriches moult in spring?) but it was a cheap one from ebay. would a more expensive one have lasted longer?weaving through the chaos...0

Most of the time I dust while vacuum cleaning - I keep the small brush attachment in my apron pocket so I can quickly switch over to dusting surfaces while hoovering. I also keep a damp microfibre cloth in said apron pocket in case there are surfaces needing a little extra."Remember that many of the things you have now you could once only dream of" - Epicurus0

Microfibre cloth - disguised as JMLs Magic Mitt. Absolutely love it after simply using damp cloths, which might leave damp dust behind.:wall:0

I just blow it away......doesn't work very well it has to be said:o0

I still love it, though! It has a huge wodge of purple feathers in the middle and just looks so camp and OTT
I've seen these in Makro recently and wondered if they were any good. Do they really trap the dust and not redistribute it? Presumably you have to shake it out after use like the Astonish fibre type dusters on a stick that you twizzle round and shake out (good description eh?:rotfl: )0 -
