can you get 1000/1000 on a credit check?!

A score so low you couldn't even get a library card would be bad.0

I am pretty sure my credit score is still good, but I want it to be really good, I am thinking (not quite ready to take the plunge) about trying the stoozing thing.
Feeling pretty nervous about it, hence the credit check. I have spent all day playing with spreadsheets (which I love so no problem there) and reading MSE forum for tips and tricks (to which I am quickly becoming addicted). Hubby now thinks I have deserted him and he keeps asking if I am ok!
I will phone the two old credit card companies tomorrow as I have their details but how do I complain about an application I never made?0 -
well guess what people my Experian score is....wait for it.....103. :eek:Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.0

probably possible to get a perfect experian score, but it's just their opinion based on the optimum amount of credit you have available aginst your payment history and credit you have taken. IMHO though it is good to have a decent score with them rather than a rubbish one, their score is no gaurantee that you will be accepted/turned down as each lender asseses on their own criteria.0

Yes this is true. I suppose you could come out with a much lower score with some lenders, even if it was really high on the experian "estimate".
At least it is reassuring, though, as I have heard of some people recently on another thread being turned down half way through the application for amortgage with Halifax, and as they hadn't even asked us for proof of income I was really scared this would happen to us. (we are waiting on survey) At least this score has put my mind at rest a bit though.0
