B&Q and similair places are usually very cheap, you do get what you pay for though so 'good' and 'cheap might not be possible,
it could be worth doing a search for offers on laminate flooring so that you pay the same but get a better quality IKEA do good quality at good prices and usually include some in their New Year sale0 -
All depends on where you want it to be laid, but in my experience fitting laminate, it is false economy to go for a cheap laminate floor, and the good ones tend to be in a higher price bracket, around £13-14 sq m upwards.
if I were to recommend, based on experience, I would always go for Quickstep laminate.
I believe floors 2 go have offers on at the moment, with quickstep 700, so worth a visit.
This is far superior to any floors from B&Q/homebase etc in my opinion.0 -
have you tried topps tiles? we just got a load of scicilian walnut reduced from £14/sqm to £3/sqm - did the whole house with it and they gave us the underlay free! they often have great sales on flooring and fantastic discounts on stock they're no longer making (lots of it too not the odd metre)R0
