Massive Clearance Sale at MVC (merged)

Have just been to my local MVC and discovered that they have reduced all their Xena Warrior Princess dvds down to £11 from the ususal whopping £30 - £40 cost for half a season. I make that discount of about 60% off!! Get them whilst you can!
P.S On a side note - The guy behind the counter told me that apparently the MVC club card is under review yet again, and that if you have any money off entitlement on your card, now is the time to get rid of it, or you could lose out.

I'm not sure if it has any relevance, but MVC was recently sold by Woolies so large scale changes to things like this are more than possible...

Almost can't believe no-one has posted this on here, there is a fairly seriously large sale going on at MVC, started yesterday, DVDs from £1.99, large amounts of CDs, books, SACDs, T-shirts etc all very cheap. Spent about £70 yesterday and went back today and got some more. Get in there!

The website is run by a woolies owned company still (Streets Online) so I'd guess that one day it will just stop rather than having a closing down sale...0

Absolutely brilliant. Another of MVC's real sales (as opposed to HMV's fake "Biggest Ever Sale" every couple of months), another mountain of stuff to buy - £240 spent in one go. Thanks for the Seinfeld tip - this wasn't marked down, but I enquired, the computer said £19.99, there amongst the normal stock it was - still marked £56.99.0
