Prescott's two jags. John Lewis kitchens for M.P's ...........................
Make a list of important things to do today. At the top, put 'eat chocolate'. Now, you'll get at least one thing done today.

You may not get an answer to your question as you've phrased it since the government receives income from a number of sources and little is specifically ringfenced (or hypothecated) for specific purposes. So it is a bit like asking where did you spend the interest on your savings when in reality it all just goes into one pot.
This link is to HM Treasury and the links on that page to spending by function may be a good starting place for you. You can then follow links to the ONS (Office of National Statistics) if you feel masochistic enough. If it’s not important to you, don’t consume it0 -

Start here for the simple explanation and then read the full budget for all the gory details.Warning ..... I'm a peri-menopausal axe-wielding maniac0 -

gives you 2 pie charts of high level income & expenses. How much detail do you want? eg you could then break down defence by army/navy/RAF/MoD or by equipment/salary/estate etc0
