When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free.
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging the washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.

 heya, morning!
We are going up to watch the marathon today so if I cheer loud the whole time, hopefully your friends (and mine!) will hear! Unless they are very speedy as I am still in my PJs and won't be leaving for an hour!;)
I have two mystery shops today, so a nice lunch and dinner out for us either side of marathon watching...
Other than that no budgeted spends, so hoping I stick to that...
OH has meal planned today and been shopping before I got up
so he is more DFW than me today, or old-style anyway (yellow stickered meat too, I lurve him :heart2: )
See you tomorrow!

I am really having to push myself today, my youngest was up all night crying because she was sore all over and I eventually got to sleep this morning when it was light out  then the rest of the rabble woke me up at 8.30am.
I have:
Put some clothes on airer.
Checked banking.
Checked ebay sales.
Walked into town to post my mums prescription.
Home via Tesco for hot chicken and some salad bits, then walked home.
Updated my food diary, being so good I need to polish my halo lol :A
and I will:
Do piggy clicks.
List some items on Ebay tonight.
Dinner is left over chicken and salad in a sarnie.
Plan out spends for this week and double check budget, finding it too easy to pick up whatever and hand over my card, must stop!!! Might use the demotivator
And last but not least, have an early night
