  • Hi

Has anybody managed to get round the £25 delivery charge for furniture?

    Thanks.
Hopeless by name, hopeless by nature.

The large rug I ordered a while back and received Friday was supposed to have 25 quid delivery but came with a few other smaller bits ... total 3.50 delivery, give or take 10p! All items fab ... great quality and impressed with their service even if the shopping cart has a mind all of its own (or rather doesn't have much of a mind!!) I suspect the delivery charge was a database input error from their side.

I had paid £4.95 for a Saturday delivery for the 20% off day shopping. however, nothing arrived. First they hadnt taken off the 20% off the order and now no delivery..

Called the Cust service and they said they would get the finance department to credit back the 20% and took off the £4.95 for no delivery and said they were having horrendous problems at the warehouse.

So this weekend is with no champagne but better off by £4.95...some consolation.

I agree about the bathrobes. I ordered an L-XL thinking it would be huge and spent the next week in depression as it didn't fit. I know I'm not thin but its a bit sad when an XL doesn't fit a size 14!

When compared to a size 10 towelling M&S robe, they are just a bit smaller!! So much for their sizes.

I am going to give them away to skinny friends as xmas presents and hope they don't get offended that I think they are XL too!!!
Do not allow the risk of failure to stop you trying!

On the bathrobe size issue my wife ordered one in size S-M. She is size 12 and I mentioned to her that some people had reported them as being too small. Well it arrived yesterday, and is a great fit with plenty of fabric overlap.

    ???

  • Just ordered more stuff today. Banana boxes (3 for £8), acrylic wine rack (£8 from £35), more gerdening tools for me mum's xmas (superb, already got a set last week - £2 from £10 * 2) and 2 * candles (£6 from ???)

The building blocks rug arrived yesterday. It is absolutely superb - really thick and cosy, and still has the £300 price sticker on it!

Really wanted the bamboo stool, but had gone by last night..

Any chance you could let me have the codes for the candles please?
