For anyone looking to sell their handcrafted goods...

Whilst browsing the internet for a craft product tonight, I happened across a store/site and spotted a notice to sell handcrafted goods for FREE!... had to have a look of course :rotfl:
Found this....

http://artymiss.co.uk/barter/index.php

Believe it's just recently opened, so not sure how good or not it will be, but I guess if it costs nothing to list your items and you can have your own store, then it must be worth a go? :T

I've just registered tonight as I was looking for somewhere other than ebay to try to sell until my own website is re designed and maybe even alongside it.

The site looks really nice too, so I'm sure there are plenty of you out there who will want to take a look and maybe sign up too.

Yvonne

    Hi there
I had a look at Artymiss - looks good - but it's another auction site like ebay - I've been looking for something sort of "high quality" for an idea to sell something I plan to make - when I've got the time!
Have a look at both of these sites for selling handmade goods- they do charge to list, but give you a long time (months) and a free shop - http://www.etsy.com/ is American - but then if you are willing to post worldwide I suppose you get a wider customer base and this one http://tuggle.co.uk/ is British and is getting some publicity at the moment (in newspapers and magazine articles) - only problem is, you seem to have to email them to "ask" them if they will let you advertise particular crafts and they are saying they "don't want" any more of some particular crafts - not helpful!
Let us know how you get on - I think there are more people somewhere on the forums that use etsy.com - sorry don't know where. If I get going on etsy.com I'll post about it.:cheesy:
