Double mortgage payment?

Hi, just a quick question. I am remortgaging with Halifax in August. My current NR mortgage direct debit comes out on 1 Aug. To avoid redemption charges, Halifax are going to complete on 4 Aug. Does this mean I will have to pay NR and Halifax both that month?

halifax should let you know when your first payment will go out. mine was 2 weeks after completion0
