Pleased with myself

The summer edition of my catalogue came the other day.
Along with a voucher for 10% off my order.
So - I have thrown it away! :T

Yes i would love a new pair of shoes, yes a new dress would be nice but NO, i don't want to use money I haven't got.

Now that's all thanks to you lot cos I wouldn't want to have to say I spent money on needless stuff.

  • Well done :T i always have the same problem when my catalog is left on the doorstep. I spend ages looking through it and marking down what i want ~ theres always loads of stuff. Then i leave it for a couple of days before i order and by that time ive either forgotton or come to my senses it works everytime and i havnt brought anything from there for ages ~ still paying for it though

  • Well done, i'm the same too. When we got ours we shredded our name, address and then put the catalogue straight into recycling ,temptation is not there no more then.

  • Well done!
I haven't had catalogues for years, they are too tempting & very expensive!!
As it is I avoid the shops, thus avoiding temptation, if temptation was delivered to me by way of a catalogue, who knows what might happen:eek:
Good on you, if you're DESPERATE for clothes Primark is so cheap, you'll get loads in there for the price of 1 thing in a catalogue;)

WELL DONE! it's always better to bin the catalogue so that you don't get tempted further down the line.
  • Like I said, before I came on here I probably would have been tempted just to cheer myself up, but now I dont want to have to change that sum of money in my signature do I?
    so thanks to you all.
