Cancelling Sky Cancellation notice

Hi all,

Just spoke to Sky to cancel our television account and they offered us "cheap" Sky+ for £99 and free broadband and telephone..
All I wanted was for them to have say 3 months at half price, but now have gone ahead and cancelled the account so as not to lose face to a customer service rep I will never meet or speak to again...
Thing is I don't actually want to cancel it, can I therefore cancel the 30 days notice without entering a new 12 month contract...or will they contact me to offer me a better deal.
