Co pension for 5mths- changing job

I've been with a company for around a year now and they gave me a pension in late 2007. They contribute "x" % whilst I have not.

Now I am changing jobs whereby the new co. has no pension scheme.

Is there anything I can do in the interest of my finances?

Thanks

Depends on what type of pension it is. Do you have any papers? Is it a stakeholder pension? A personal pension? some other pension?

Either way, the pension provider/administrator should contact you and tell you what your options are

stakeholder pension plan....... the new company wont contribute, but you can claim tax rebate at the end of th e year on the amount of your contributions
