Hi - my boyfriend and I are both in permanant teaching jobs. But we both have an adverse credit history. I had a CCJ for 300 pounds satisfied 5 years ago. I also had unpaid account which has now been settled with the abbey national. my boyfriend has poor credit history as he had missed payments with a phone company 4 years ago, again this has all been settled.
I there ANY companies that would consider us for 100% mortgage? we cannot afford any deposit as we are getting married in July.
Any suggestions welcome

There aren't any 100% mortgages available at the moment.0

Do you listen to or read the news cat14? The last 100% mortgage is now withdrawn. Looks like you'll have to postpone your Wedding and start saving for a deposit.0

mpsavuk - of course I read the news.
I am talking about high street lenders - are there not other options?0 -
100% no not at all.
If you really want to buy have a look in to the grants that you may be entitled to as teachers. Can get up to 50k!

It may seem a bit premature ...But if it's a Friday night ...My Alarm bells are ringing0 -
My wife has a bad credit history. She earns little more than the minimum wage, has changed jobs 4 times plus had a period of unemployment during the last year.
she now informs me that she has raised an extra £28,000 on her existing mortgage of £13,000 (approx) to buy me out of our home. Is this likely?
By the way she is 51 (52 in August)
We are currently divorcing. I have already raised a mortgage to buy her out as she originally requested.0
