credit checks

We bought our property 8yrs ago, and we are still receiving letters from banks for previous occupants, owing money.
Is there a free website that will show me credit checks on our property? Thanks in advance.

Credit checks are done on people not properties. You are only allowed to access information that relates to credit applications you have made.

Are the letters addressed to ''The Occupier'' or ''Mr/Mrs ******''? You are obviously opening & reading the letters otherwise you wouldn't know about the previous occupiers debt. If the letters are addressed to a named person then you are breaking the law by opening them. Just write ''Return To Sender'' & ''Not Known At This Address'' on the envelope & put in a post box.
