Is Divident from Deutsche Post and Deutsche Telekom listed on London Stock exchange count as a UK Dividend or Foreign Dividend for UK Tax Return.

Are there any clues on the tax voucher? From recollection, UK companies have a 6 or so digit reference that you can use to look them up in the Extel record books. Has a UK or German tax credit been deducted - and is it denominated in sterling or Euros? If all sterling I would go for UK, just to save you having to order foreign pages for your return. You could always put a note on the back page stating you have included it in UK dividends and included the foreign tax credit, just to reduce the number of pages. I am assuming we are not talking £00s here?

Shares can often be quoted on more than one stock exchange; i.e. your shares could be listed on the German register or the London register. If the London register then they are UK situs. If you are UK domiciled (the country you consider home) it doesn't matter if they are UK or foreign as they are taxable at 10% and 32.5% with a a 10% tax credit. If you are not UK domiciled it could make a difference depending on whether or not you have remitted the dividend to the UK.

Deutsche Post and Deutsche Telekom are not listed on LSE, therefore they must be foreign dividends.
