Mortage deal advice

I have been offered 5.64% of £120,000 mortage and APR of 5.8%. If I get a up grade my account and pay £12.95 a month.

It will keep our home start interest only until next year with our repayments £564 per month, then going up to £835 per month.

Just wanted to know if people thought it was a good deal. We cant pay more per month due to only having one wage ( got a one year only and I'm a student social worker)

Any advice would be most welcome!!:T

Thanks
Bunty

    Hi Bunty,

Sorry I don't have any specific advice other than that with any mortgage - could you still afford it if the re-payments went up by a few %? You may get more technical info if you post on the Mortgage Board ... I don't want to seem unhelpful but I don't know very much about the current deals that are out there! Sorry! :o
