I recently received a call from GE Capital in connection with my Burton Account card. See this thread.
At the end they asked for my date of birth and address. If legitimate companies are doing this, does it not just make people even more likely to give personal details when receiving a call? I think that in this case GE Capital puts its marketing needs before that of the potential to encourage fraud.0 -
