Sorry as it seems to have annoyed some people - just trying to help others.

Didn't annoy me either - just so you know :D - sorry if I sounded like I was...

Excellent. Will you be posting tips on here again now? I haven't seen one from you for a while.

    Marie :)
I've stopped posting as I can't be sure I'll be able to post every day. I'm between homes at the moment after relocating (again). I usually place a bet the night before so you can check my racecaller page if you like.

I've just signed up for racecaller and placed a bet. How do I place a tip so that I get my points for signing up? Is placing a bet the same as placing a tip. I could swear someone else asked this recently but I cant locate the post. Sorry to be so thick.
    Thanks Linda

Just a Q for everyone. Anyone want to point me in the direction of an alternative to PB? Im just going to get my next few 100 points to get a voucher and quit. just wanting to know wheres currently better?

Apart from the usual cashback sites mentioned on here already, the two that I find most similar to Pigsback are www.ipoints.co.uk and www.mutualpoints.com

Both work on a points system and send regular emails (several per week) where you earn points just for clicking through to other sites. Ipoints also give you points for completing polls on their site and for completing surveys they email to you.

Both sites also give you points for purchases via their site but you're almost always better off going via a 100% cashback site instead. But - you can earn Ipoints on purchases as well as getting cashback from another site (as there is a box to input your Ipoints email address at the end of the transaction.) That's certainly the case for Figleaves and Prezzybox, anyway, where I've earnt Ipoints and also the Quidco cashback. :D

Mutual Points also have a High Street shopping cashback scheme where you earn points for shopping at a couple of shops including Halfords and Superdrug. (You have to register your debit/credit cards on Mutual Points to get the points for shopping instore so probably won't appeal to everybody.)

Rewardswise, Mutualpoints pay out in cash. 3000 points is £20. This is the minimum payout level.

Ipoints pay in rewards. There are loads to choose from - although most of them cost a lot - especially things like vouchers. My preferred reward from them are Moonpig cards. They cost 680 points each (which is quite easy to earn) and you can personalise them with your own words/pictures etc. You can also swap points for things like CDs and gifts from Prezzybox.

Both sites do have critics though (although not on the scale of Pigsback!) Ipoints has altered the number of points needed for its rewards a few times now, which is why I'd recommend spending points on lower value items - rather than saving them up for months only to find they raise the rate!

I am going to be bowing out of pigsback very shortly, I'm busy moderating on another forum now and really don't have time for it plus I've lost interest in what was once a good site. Is there anyone willing to take on the update post on post 2 and do it daily ?

Thanks for all your hard work on this thread, Jules! Good luck with the moderating.xx

PS: Make sure you still visit this site too! :A
