With the child related issues i coulnt really put my finger on it, they get about 13 a week between the 3 of them as pocket money, but then little odds and sods but really not a lot.
With bithdays they dont add up to much 3 times ayear we spend about £30/£40 on each of them.

    - money for school, shoes, little treats etc

You need both of you to keep a spending diary and list everything that you spend on yourselves, the kids ofr the house for a month.

So that is another £10 per month for Christmas and £10 for birthdays. Do you buy pressies for each other, from the kids for OH or for other relatives?

re your Sky package at £52 - have a look at Virgin - we've got our TV/Broadband/Home phone in a package for £30 p/month. And have a zillion channels. https://www.virginmedia.com - if installation isn't a free offer at the moment (usually £30), look on the discount board here, someone will probably have a free code to waive it.
