Can't access router config screen, help!

This morning while passing by I picked up his router to try here at home before sending it to Belkin (they need the old one before they dispatch the replacement).

I've set it up and it's working fine with my laptop - I'm accessing MSE via the wifi connection at the moment. I have absolutely no idea why this didn't work on my laptop at his place. :wall:

So you were right about it (probably) being his laptop, he was too busy for me to look at device manager earlier so I'll be going over this evening to try and sort it out.

I'll uninstall Adobe (thanks for finding that espresso) and try the ipconfig /release & ipconfig /renew again. Will also check device manager for any conflicts.

I'm at his place now - his laptop connects to the router wirelessly when WPA-WKIP security is disabled but when enabled it fails with the message, "Wireless authentication failed because of a timeout" or "Wireless key is incorrect" though I've checked the key is the same.

I've uninstalled Adobe and done ipconfig /renew & there's no conflict in device manager. Any other ideas? :wall:

EDIT - it's all sorted and working now - hard reset the router and downloaded updated drivers for the wireless card, Adobe turned out to have not uninstalled properly so once all that was done it worked. Thanks everyone, much appreciated
