Beef Stoganoff is good. Look at Delia's.
Also this version of chilli. Use instead of mince. I never make mince version since I started doing this: -

Both work excellent in the slow cooker as well. You should have a look on the slow cooker thread also. They both freeze and can reheated from frozen also.0 -
Hi annie,
You could use it to make a steak pie (using pastry or topped with mash) or what about chilli?

Something my mum used to do. Stew it for aaaaages (till tender) in red sauce (just plain tomato sauce). She used to serve it with the weekly ravioli (we're part italian) and it was delicious, the meat so tender it fell apart in your mouth.
Maybe you could give that a try?

I love meat and potato pie. Just slowly cook the stewing beef in the oven in some stock and ad a chopped onion or 2 depending on how much you are doing (it reduces slightly to make a delicious gravy) When its cooked boil some potatoes and add them to the beef.Top this with flaky or suet pastry and stick back in the oven for about 35 mins. Serve with veg ...delicious!JAN GC- £155.77 out of £200
