    What a day...

After most of the day spent trying to get in touch with my advisor and failing I decided to phone the halifax myself. I was told that the deal was going to be pulled on either monday or tuesday so I had to act fast.

Ive just spent over an hour on the phone and have been accepted :) The girl said that I passed with an 'A' on the credit score :j

Now all I need to do is go to a local branch with my forms of ID. Im really pleased I made the call and listened to all your advise.

The deal I got was 5.64 fixed for 5 years.

As this is the first time ive done this without using a broker I have a couple of questions if anyone can help?

    1) Ive been told the deal is accepted, is it really or can it still fall through.

    2) Ive not been asked to produce pay slips, is this normal? (no problem if required).

    Cheers

It can if the val falls through or there is a matrial change to your circumstances.

Other than that you should be fine.

    What about the payslips homer?

Ive been told they may not have asked for them due to my credit rating and the amount of equity I have on the house.

some times they will fast track which means they will not ask for them and on an A pass, it is unlikely that they will.
