im looking for a good deal on a samsung 40"plasma tv, cheapest deal i have seen is comet for £649 anything better out there?

I've got a feeling that Samsung Plasma TVs start at 42", 40" and below are LCDs.

Might be wrong though.

Samsung PS42Q97HDX Plasma HD Ready Digital Television, 42 Inch
This is £699 @ John Lewis which is slightly bigger and more money but has a 5 year warranty so maybe worth considering.
There is a Philips 42" for £649 with again the same warranty @ John Lewis too.
