I don't grudge him his fee as he did a lot of work (had to because of Norwich Union's many mistakes) to ensure that I got the best deal. He came to my house and kept me up to date via phonecalls. I couldn't have had a better service.
what a breath of fresh air - good to hear you had a good experience with IFA lilac_lady!:T0 -
The best site to search for an IFA is www.unbiased.co.cuk . It has the largest database and is not paid for by IFAs (unless they chose to pay for an enhanced entry). Any other site is likely to be commercial or have a bias to certain groups.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. It is an HMRC breach to refund commission on pensions and pension annuities.
Any commission not taken would be used to enhance the annuity. However, dont get excited. A £500 commission saved would make just a few pounds difference (as the £500 is averaged over your life expectancy).I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
