OK well the answer is, yes, you can cancel, but as herbies alluded to, fixed rates are rising and have been for some time so you may find there's no gain in doing so.0

ronald, you're obviously a bit of tit... you dont seem to have just joined the boards for a wind up, so presume you have been taking an interest before, in which case you'll have spotted that the base rate drop is already likely to be priced in to what you already have, infact take a look around as its likely that rates have gone up since you chose the mortage..
