Any Had Trouble With Mbna And Cca Requests?

MBNA seem to be prepaired to try anything, I sent my request last week and they have been phoning all week threatening all sorts if I don't pay in full, sending horrible letters demanding full payment, saying that doorstep agents have tried calling and all the rest, They seem to be the lowest of the low. I had a similar problem when I tried to claim charges from them last year, I wouldn't be surprised if they try every dirty trick in the book, I also wouldnt rule out forging signatures on a CCA,

stick in there. You should know the score by now! It is said that a degree is 80% persperation and 20% new knowledge, I personally think that dealing with dca's and bank's is exactly the same. It's called the 80/20 rule: anyway atleast your chipping away at their profits and that for me feels good.June 2005 = 48K of Debt

Sept 2006 Started dmp = 56k of Debt (inc fees and charges) DFD April 2030:eek:
May 2008 = <5k of Debt (CCA route -48K, paid off 3K) DFD April 2010
Nov 2008 Lloyds found CCA for 14K loan:mad: New DFD Jan 2016
Happy so far tomorrows another day

This is normal DCA tactics when faced with a CCA request. remember, a very high percentage of MBNA accounts are not properly documented. They must be pooping themselves at the moment, with the credit crunch.
Are they asking security questions when they ring? Refuse to confirm your ID. and then tell them that you are recording all calls because of their previuos haressment.
Read up on the OFT Guidelines for debt collection and demand that they only write to you in future and advise them that you will report them to Trading Standard for
- not using the methiod of communication requested
- sending round collections agents without prior agreement
- Haressment for multiple calls
- threatening action that is not possible
-taking advantage of your lack of legal knowledgeIf you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -

They are capable of anything. Don't send them a CCA request with your signature on it. I did and suddenly it appeared on a CCA from the Halifax that contained several errors about me - no middle name, profession spelled wrongly, address wrong  Court papers prepared and sent - awaiting response from the Court.Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!0 -
Send them the telephone harrassment letter so all communication in writing only!0

Say with it , next time they ring ,have a note pad ready , have a list of question to ask them . They work from a set script . Ask them as meny questions as you can think of, without answering theirs0
