Hi all! I'm looking to have my lip pierced (labret). Can anyone recommend a good piercing studio in Belfast? Price is not important, I just want somewhere professional, clean and safe!
I only found a review for City Skin Works / Tommy Guns online.
Does anyone know? Many thanks!

I can recommend Skin Works for tattoos but have no experience of piercings I'm afraid. But if it's any help, they're widely regarded as a professional outfit.

Thanks Milko. I went in yesterday, just to get some info as I take it seriously, and I felt a bit rushed....The guy on the desk just told me he could do it for me in 5 minutes now and then. He answered my questions quite fast, and showed me the size of the stud when I asked, but I really felt rushed...Maybe he was busy, I don't know! I'd just like to go somewhere where I'm sure they will take their time explaining everything, as it also shows they will take their time doing the job properly I think.
Maybe I'm just paranoid though! lol :p

lmao they are always like that in skinworks but they are damn good!!! they are just efficient!! the piercing guy is great and always gives great advice. i had my tongue done there and i highly recommend. do not go to inshops for piercing thats my advice.

lol thanks, As I said I'm probably being paranoid! I had my tongue done 6 years ago, and can't even remember what the place was like, other than it had been recommended as the best in town (Paris), and it was really professional.
I believe that it's one of those things where word of mouth and recommendations really help! :D

Another vote for Belfast City Skinworks...had several piercings done by them and they are really professional and give excellent aftercare if you should need it. Wouldn't trust anyone else for piercings or tats.

Thanks people! I posted the same question on another site, and there was a definite consensus in favour of the Otherside at the Inshops....Not too sure, think I'll go to town and check that place out, so at least I've seen both then flip a coin! lol :p

Have a look at BME and see if you can find any reviews :)

Yes Juno, I've been looking at BME for two whole days! :D
Both Skin Works and the Otherside are featured in "experiences", with no real bad point for either!

well my bad point for otherside is that i now have a numb spot in my tongue from a dodgy tongue piercing experience there. when i went back to complain as i had it done before and knew it wasnt normal the guy told me not to be stupid as there are no nerves in ur tongue!
love you lots like jelly tots :o
