My bf's family is Austrian and we go there quite a lot, so I get to pick any bits and bobs that I want, but I just wondered if there were any places that sell similar stuff over here because as soon as the stuff is gone, we want more!
The stuff I stock up on are goulash packets and paprika (which are fine as they keep), but the other things we like are spec, wurst and salami (there's a meat theme here) and I just don't know where to get them from over here. I think Lidl do some, but not sure if they would taste the same or not.
Plus nowhere seems to have semmels, which are rolls, but different to our rolls.

I would try the Lidl stuff. Most of it is made in Germany. I imagine it would be the same.0

A friend has a German boyfriend and they recommend Lidl and Aldi, as a lot of the stuff is exactly the same. Hope that helps! x0

Hi Pollyanna,
Like everyone else has said I think Aldi or Lidl would be your best bet. I'll move your thread over to the I wanna board to see if you can get some help there.

I would recommend going to a meat market. Tesco seem to have a wide range now with foods from across the globe!!0 -
Don't where you are located, but if you get to London, try the Austrian Sausage Centre in Camden / Chalk Farm - bound to have wurst, salami and speck.
