"American Inventor" - can I make money out of this?

I posted this question on Yahoo Answers but I thought it might be worth asking here too:

I was watching American Inventor (I'm in the UK btw) and it struck me that I had already thought of every invention presented on the show (apart from one or two of the more eccentric ones) and I it has left me wondering if I have a talent going to waste.

I'm a bit puzzled by the show because I assumed that all the inventions presented must already have been invented; for example I can't believe no bra manufacturer hasn't already attempted to make a backless bra - I had that idea myself several years ago.

I'm far too lazy to attempt to do any of the hard work like establishing patents and checking whether an idea has already been claimed and I have no recognized technical skills, but invention comes very easily and naturally to me.

Is there a business that hires people just to brainstorm new ideas? It would be a lot more rewarding than my present dead-end job.

I've never seen a Bra like that before, to be honest.

I was so impressed by it that i've pre-ordered one from the Maidenform website http://www.maidenform.co.uk/store/bras/7445.html

I've been looking for a Bra like this for years!

Why didn't you come forward with your idea sooner?........You would've made a bundle!

If that bra supports anything bigger than a D cup, I'll be gobsmacked! It didn't look like it was doing her too many favours...

The clingfilm cutter has been around for years, I don't understand how it got on there my aunt bought hers from argos about 7 years ago. It holds foil cling film and has a thing uner it for kitchen roll.

They go up to a 38DD apparently.

Being a modest 34B it's looks ideal to me, but i couldn't really comment on how bigger ladies will fair off.
