I keep changing my mind so need some advice please.I have decided it would be best to work with the colours of the reception venue so heres a photo of the room we will be having the meal and dancing in.The sofas are red and theres a few different tartans, the dining chairs are in a navy tartan with heather(I think,a pale mauve) and greens.
I like purple and lots of green and white.Simple and elegant is the feel I want to go for with a touch of scotland but no more tartan as theres enough in the room already.
I need advise on bridesmaids dress colour(the girls are pale with blonde hair and blue eyes),mens waiscoats(most of the men are dark toned but son is pale as the girls) and flowers.I will be having the traditional ivory or white dress(had been seriously contemplating purple but have ruled that out now)
With so much going on in the room already I want to avoid serious colour clashes and have it all looking planned and perfect.HELP!

Lovely room!
How about Grand Prix Roses (dark velvety red) and blue thistle? They look beautiful together with other flowers and dark green foliage:-

If that's too bold then maybe Blue Thistle and ivory Avalanche Roses (with other flowers and foliage)?
Let us know what you choose!
