    Looks to cynical little me that the Government have called in their favour following the BOE (independant ha ha) standing up for HBOS the other day.

    Whilst it may be good news for homeowners with a reasonable amount of equity we still don't know the fees involved. Also, realistically, who are the people who are going to have major problems? Those coming out of deals without equity or negative equity who struggled with SVR and can't move product or company - they are still up the creek without a paddle.
