Attachment of Earnings N56 help

Hi,
I've received an N56 form to fill in for an attachment of earnings. I was just wondering though what expenses I can reasonably put down eg for housekeeping. I live alone with 1 kitty cat.
The reason I ask is because I had an AoE in the past (I am trying to get my debts straight - promise!) and I ended up paying back more each month than I felt was reasonable based on my income and expenditure. I don't spend frivelously but I would like to have as much money available to me as possible in case of emergencies!
Thanks in advance. Sorry for waffling - trying to be quick!

The typical figure given for a single person's I&E Housekeeping allowance is £150.00 per month - not sure if a separate allowance is made for pets but suspect that 1 kitty would be expected to be included in that figure.
(From CAB Budget planning sheet.....)
(If me and my cat spent that - we would both be HUUUUGE!!! Anway he eats pigeons!)Blonde: Unemployed: Bankrupt.

Hi there.
The figures allowed for a Protected Earnings Rate are set out using the DWP guidelines. You will be allowed an allowance for yourself of £179.00 plus mortgage/rent, council tax and water.
You will also be allowed priority expenses such as rent or utility arrears plus any other court orders or maintenance.
If you think the NDR has been set too high you can ask for it to be redetermined.
This is for County Court attachments by the way rather than magistrates or CSA ones.
Let me know if you need any more info on attachments. Hth x xPay Debt by Xmas 16 - 0/12000
