Direction of fixed rates in the short term???

As with many on here my fixed rate @4.59% is due to expire at the end of May. I have secured a new deal fixed for 3 years @5.79% - however, before i send off the signed document i was wondering if there was any chance that fixed rate deals may come down slightly over the next 30 days with the anticipated BoE rate cut???
I realise that this is the million dollar question and that if they did it is unlikely to be anything significant but every little bit helps.
Thanks in advance.

not a chance, they will not come down in the next 30 days - they may go up though0

You could always hedge your bets and go for a tracker in the meantime... It's a mini-gamble either way.
Best of luck in finding a good deal and watch those confounded charges.0 -
I can only see them going up to be honest.0
