How do you get a CitizenCard?

The easiest way to apply is to pick up an application form at any Somerfield Store, usually at the tobacco counter, or you can apply online at https://www.citizencard.com. For adults cards cost just £7 and for under-18s the cards are completely free of charge. Applications normally take up to three weeks to process, but if you need your card within 5 days you can pay an extra £10 to guarantee your card is fast-tracked.

This one is easier than the somerfield one because you dont have to go anywhere. You can just print off, and it's half price and free for under 18's.
I don't know if under 18's cards are free from www.citizencard.com, it doesnt seem to say a anywhere.
  • if you go to your local wetherspoons pub you can pick up the form for it and becasue you got it from wetherspoons is half price!!!
DON'T JUDGE ME, YOU DON'T HAVE THE RIGHT TO. YOU DONT KNOW WHAT I'VE BEEN THROUGH, YOU DONT KNOW WHAT I'VE FELT, OR WHAT I FEEL RIGHT NOW! SO FIND SOMETHING BETTER TO DO WITH YOUR TIME, THAN JUDGE SOMEONE YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT!!!

Would something like this be suitable for flying on the cheapo airlines? My brother is thinking of taking his family to Ireland next year but the cost of passports for all of them would cost more than the flights so he's looking for an alternative idea...

Internal flights only I'm afraid. If you're travelling to the Republic of Ireland you will need a passport. I'm not sure about Northern Ireland though.
