unfair pay any advice?

I have worked for companies where discussing salary would be a sackable offence. Mainly due to the vast differences in salary, at one company there was up to a 9K difference in salary for staff doing the same job.

ITs your responsibility to negotiate your rate at interview, and subsequent reviews, and if you want a rise, moaning that a colleague earns more wouldnt wash with me, however If you came to me and justified why you wanted a raise with examples you would get the raise.
