The reason that you can't see a padlock in the bottom corner is that the web page is made up from frames. The particular frame that your card details are submitted with is secure. To prove this to yourselves, right click on the frame where you enter your details and select Properties ... You will see the web page begins with https:// This proves that it is secure ... Sorry I can't explain more technically than that, but hope it puts some of you at ease!Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body,
but rather to skid in sideways, thoroughly used up, totally worn out and loudly proclaiming ..... wow what a Ride!0 -
Hi, the site is safe, it's just because it uses frames...
If you go to the properties of the actual page processing the card details (right click > properties in IE) you'll see that it uses https.
...and I just realised somebody already said that. Oops. Oh well.0 -
if the website address starts with https it is still seure...also if you right mouse button click anywhere on the open page and then click propeties it will show what security the site has.
Hehe...just noticed this had already been postedWelcome, rogerramjet.
