Ok, I'll warn you now this phone is not great looking BUT it is a very powerful Windows Mobile 2003 smartphone, with fold out QWERTY keyboard! And it is certainly the best price I have seen for a mobile phone with such a great spec!

The offer was posted as deal of the day (starting 3pm today), so you've got another 11 hours to consider purchasing, as there seems to be enough stock according to the website.
[edit: it hasn't got bluetooth though according to reviews] I've ordered one to replace my work mobile phone...

is it able to recieve 3g?
Thank you0 -
No, it's not a 3G phone - it's a "2.5G" phone, ie GPRS...0

Is it possible to rig this phone up for SatNav use?
If so, what sort of hardware/software is needed and at what sort of cost?0 -
AFAIK as there is no Bluetooth, SDIO support etc. it will be nigh on impossible to rig it up for SatNav. Software should be fine, just no way of connecting a GPS unit to find your position.
In theory it *MAY* be possible to rig something up as there are companies out there which produce specialist GPS units that could connect via the USB on the docking station etc. However it won't be cheap and you'll be on your own investigating the product as there Sierra who make the smartphone are all but unknown.

Agree with RufusA on this one!
I suppose that it just depends on what you want out of a phone to whether this would suit peoples needs but I have heard that they are good for all the e-mailing etc and operating system are similar to sybian. I use an ICQ alternative via GPRS for my 7610 which works well and does not cost as much as the e-mailing.
Some functions I find are nice to have but do you necessarily need them?0 -
Most people would be better off getting an Orange C550 for free on a contract with £180 cashback: http://www.fones4free.com/BundleDetails.aspx?BundleID=920

I've owned this brick / phone. Very clunky user interface and laggy. Back in the box now, don't use it.0
