Hi..Wescot are sending demnds to my postal address, but in the name of a Luci J Anscombe, who I have never heard of and who I am sure has never lived here in the last 30 years at least. This means that dear Ms Anscombe has pinched my address I assume, but whilst I am happy that my c cards are not cloned etc., has anyone else had the same sort of problem and has anyone else any advice ? Thanks to anyone who can help (including dear Luci !! )

I have had this happen to me in the past and all i did was phone them up and say the addressee didnt and as far as i know has never lived at my address, i havn't heard from them since0

You do need to tell them you are not that person and the date that you moved to that address. I'm lucky in that I am in a rented house (housing association) so I gave the collection agency the landlords address and just let the two slog it out!0

Welcome to the site Polarman. I hope you've managed to resolve this issue by now.
I've moved your post across to another board, where you might get some additional advice.
Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere(please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. If you have any questions about this policy please email !!!!!!0
