In celebration of the recent move to Five, Fremantle Home Entertainment is proud to present the double DVD collection, Neighbours: Defining Moments - film your own Neighbours opening titles sequence and you could win the DVD and a set of signed photos of the cast!
Neighbours: Defining Moments revisits the special moments as Daphne, Christina and Libby give birth to new members of Ramsay Street and celebrates the lives of old friends that tragically have passed away – Tom, Jim, Helen and Madge. Of course, Neighbours simply wouldn't be Neighbours without a good old wedding, and there are enough nuptials here including Scott and Charlene's, Des and Daphne's, Madge and Harold's, Annalise and Mark's, and Libby and Drew's. Containing over 6 hours of material, this two-disc release includes 15 episodes that feature the most defining moments in the series' long and celebrated history.

For a chance to win a copy of the Neighbours: Defining Moments DVD, we want you and your friends to film your own Neighbours opening titles sequence!
Just upload the video clip onto YouTube or MySpace, then send the link to neighbours@lastbroadcast.co.uk , subject line Neighbours competition
All entries will be featured on LastBroadcast, so check this page regularly to see what people have come up with. We will then pick our three favourites in June, with the three winners each getting a copy of the Neighbours: Defining Moments DVD and a set of signed photos of the cast (including Susan, Harold, Lou, Paul, Ringo, Boyd and Janelle)!
Here's some ideas...
- Include homages to classic Neighbours opening titles sequence ideas. (For example: the street sign, the paper round, the pool party, the car-washing, the cricket game on the street, the cheesy waves and smiles, the cute pets, the shameless random shirtlessness, the crap cartoon backgrounds, the BBQ, etc.)
- Get your family involved - Neighbours is multi-generational after all.
- Dress up as characters (past or present) from the show.
- Sing your own version of the themetune.
Your entry can be as slick or as tacky, and as serious or as surreal, as you like!
The video must only include your own footage - entries with any footage that you have not filmed yourselves will be disqualified.
