    Hi,

Do you think 10 year fixes are back in fashion?

Took out a 10 year fixed in 2006 and wondered at the time if I was being too conservative....at least I'm not having to re-do it anytime soon.

    Ekkk!

My partner went into branch and spoke to the mortgage lady who filled in some forms for the Woolwich 10year fixed at 5.29 and booked an appointment to see us tomorrow for us to show her our wage slips etc.

Would she have put our application in yet or will she be waiting until tomorrow? (When by the sounds of it, it will all be too late!!)

Also even with an application in can they still change the rate? I always thought until the house was valued and the mortgage papers signed they could do what they pleased?
